Mathematical symbols in ISO 80000-2 – a test page

The following table lists the characters mentioned in Annex A of the international standard ISO 80000-2:2009 (Quantities and units. Part 2: Mathematical signs and symbols to be used in the natural sciences and technology). This does not include all symbols appearing in the standard, only those that have been identified by Unicode number in the annex.

The main purpose of this page is to show the symbols in different fonts that might typically be used for mathematical texts. The columns show the symbols in the fonts to the extent that the page is viewed in a system that has the fonts installed. If you have the LastResort font installed, glyphs missing from the font appear as generic symbols, so that it is easier to see what characters are missing from a font.

The standard ISO 80000-2 was revised in 2019. The changes include removal of Annex A and references to Unicode and ISO 10646.
